Run Logan Run is a unique experimental jazz duo hailing from Bristol and featuring Andrew Neil Hayes on saxophones and FX, and Dan Johnson on drums and percussion. Hard to categorize, their sound is visionary, merging jazz with electronic music, often entrancing and hypnotic bordering on spiritual and enlightened. Their new album The Delicate Balance Of Terror, out now on Weizenbaum Records, is a diverse composition of ruthless tribal drums and guttural sax, dipping into contemplative deep jazz moments, fragmented rhythms, and smatterings of delicate free melodies. The sax employs heavy delay, pitch shifting and circular breathing but nothing is ever looped. For a foray into their psyche, we are honored to premiere Run Logan Run’s brand new and very Orwellian video for their single “ELIZA”. Check it out below.
