The eight-track album features a stellar lineup of Glasper’s frequent collaborators, including PJ Morton, Sevyn Streeter, Cynthia Erivo, Tarriona “Tank” Ball, Alex Isley, Andra Day, Doobie Powell, and The Baylor Project.
Initially launched as an Apple Music exclusive, In December now reaches a wider audience, complete with an additional track—a swanky rendition of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” featuring the smooth, soulful vocals of acclaimed gospel artist Doobie Powell.
In December finds Glasper channeling his celebrated Black Radio series style into the holiday realm. His unique approach breathes new life into traditional holiday tunes, crafting an album that blends jazz improvisation, R&B grooves, and an unmistakable sense of warmth and intimacy.
