The much heralded and soulful vocalist Chris Turner has made several appearances on these pages over the past few years. He was an integral part of drummer Jamire Williams’ ERIMAJ band and more recently made a cameo on Aidan Carroll’s Original Vision, notwithstanding the plethora of singles he’s released under his own moniker, most of which have been regrouped on his 2012 mixtape LOVElife Is A Challenge. A month ago, Turner brought back the mixtape to the forefront by releasing the official video for one of its singles, “Brainstormin’”, directed by Jesse Boykins III.
