NORI, the quintet out of Austin that has a charming take on the contemporary, are releasing their next album this Friday, Bruise Blood (and performing in San Antonio at FL!GHT Gallery on December 20th, but we’ll say more about that later). It’s a forward-thinking album that continues in the same vibe as 2016’s World Anew revealed to us with Akina Adderley’s forcefully chill vocals front and center with this band. They just released their second single from Bruise Blood, “Wildfire”, to get you ready for this release this week. Check it out after the jump and be on the lookout for Bruise Blood when it drops on Friday.

Akina Adderley – vocals
Erik Telford – trumpet
Nick Litterski – Fender Rhodes, piano
Aaron Allen – upright bass
Andy Beaudoin – drums, percussion
