Montreal bassist and composer Joel Kerr has released his latest album False Dawn and is in the midst of touring parts of Central Canada to promote the album. False Dawn marks Kerr’s third release as a leader and the second of his cross-genre “electric quartet” that incorporates elements of jazz, R&B, contemporary classical music and indie rock. This stunning video by Chris Henschel features band members Kenny Bibace (guitar), Andrew Boudreau (piano), and Mark Nelson (drums), as well as special guest Mireille Boily (vocals). Check out “Water Talk” after the jump.

False Dawn is available on Bandcamp.

TOUR DATES:
May 29 – Cafe Resonance – Montreal, QC
May 30 – Raw Sugar – Ottawa, ON
