The SFJAZZ Collective features some of the most gifted soloists, composers and bandleaders on the contemporary scene: alto saxophonist Miguel Zenón, bassist Matt Penman, tenor saxophonist David Sánchez, trumpeter Avishai Cohen, pianist Edward Simon, trombonist Robin Eubanks, drummer Obed Calvaire and vibraphonist Warren Wolf. Their eleventh limited-edition album Live: SFJAZZ Center 2014, The Music of Joe Henderson and New Compositions, a tribute to one of jazz’s most captivating, creative and influential tenor saxophonists and composers, Joe Henderson, will be released March 10, 2015.
