Chris Combs (most notably of Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey) is branching a bit of a ways out with his solo project, Combsy. This is most notably with his take of the tune “I Can’t Make You Love Me” (which I’m honestly a sucker for) featuring Olivia McGraw on vocals. It’s definitely a jant from jazz but it’s nevertheless an interesting direction worth a listen. Check it out below or at the other assorted streaming services.
