Guitarist Jeff Parker’s album, The New Breed, is the jam. It’s laid back, casually muscular, with the ability to take the listener on a journey without any fuss at all. Album closer, “Cliché”, featuring his daughter Ruby Parker on vocals sweetly encapsulates that feeling, swirling about in psychedelia without getting too dizzy. Even the video by Lee Ann Schmitt does the same thing visually. Check it out after the jump.
