Proprietary cash grab projects are kinda the pits, and this project almost seems to fit in that ideal, but this compilation, produced by Jay Newland, and arranged and directed by Rob Mousey, does look kinda interesting. I mean, I’d want to hear Laura Mvula sing “Stay Awake” from Mary Poppins. How is that kid everyone’s talking about, the multi-talented Jacob Collier, going to tackle The Little Mermaid‘s “Under the Sea”? And who better than Jamie Cullum to take on the role of Cogsworth? So if the kid in you if fond of a little nostalgia, check out the teaser video for the album below.

1. Bebel Gilberto “Tale As Old As Time” (Beauty & The Beast)
2. Imany “Someday My Prince Will Come” (Snow White)
3. Jamie Cullum & Eric Cantona “Be Our Guest” (Beauty & The Beast)
4. Jacob Collier “Under The Sea” (The Little Mermaid)
5. Angelique Kidjo “Try Everything” (Zootopia)
6. The Amazing Keystone Big Band “Steamboat Willie”
7. Thomas Dutronc “J’ai vu voler un éléphant” (Dumbo)*
8. Selah Sue “So This Is Love” (Cinderella)
9. Madeleine Peyroux “The Golden Touch”
10. George Benson “You’ll Be In My Heart”
11. Laura Mvula “Stay Awake” (Mary Poppins)

Jazz Loves Disney 2 is out November 10th. It’s available for pre-order now.
