“Victory Joy Dance” is the first track of Lighthouse, the second album by Amsterdam-based pianist Gideon van Gelder. As the title of the song suggests, the playful interaction between the rhythm of Van Gelder’s hyperactive Wurlitzer, Rick Rosato’s bass lines and Jamire Williams’ drums gives the song a great optimistic feel. Perfect to get you going on a Sunday afternoon or any day, really. Check it out after the jump.

Gideon van Gelder’s second album was released in September 2014 and is not to be missed. The album zigzags between energetic grooves and thoughtful harmonies (accompanied by the blissful voice of Becca Stevens on a number of tracks).

Track list for Lighthouse:
Victory Joy Dance
As Night
Visions
Moonstone
Interlude
Pier // Cais

Orbit
As Night – Reprise
