Barry Goettl, host of evölve, asked me to fill in for his two hour show. It’s a more structured deal — it runs through the JazzWeek albums charts and features an album every show (I decided to feature Matt Mayhall’s Tropes) — and it’s twice as long as my show. It’s usually a challenge for me to program a two hour show but I stepped up to the task and had a good time.
