Devonne Harris is crazy prolific. Set aside his role in Butcher Brown, he’s seemingly become a focal point of the Richmond, VA, scene through Jellowstone Records. However, just as important is how he’s a one-man dynamo, of course shining on the keys and vocals in Butcher Brown, but also able to play a coterie of instruments with great aplomb and work as a dope-ass producer on top of that. His latest solo endeavor is a short album in the vein of Sly Stone which he just released to the Jellowstone Bandcamp. Check out the hazy Slyish after the jump and make sure to cop the scuzzy goodness.
DJH’s take on the boy wonder himself – Sly Stone(d).
DJH on all vox and instruments!!!
